We are upgrading all databases still using MySQL 5.7 to MySQL 8.0. The upgrade procedure is designed to minimize the impact. During the upgrade, your database will be put in read-only mode twice for a short period of time. This means that you cannot add or modify data for a few minutes at most. Reading data remains possible.</p> <p>We schedule the moments when the database will be read-only in such a way that this happens after 11 p.m. in order to further minimize the impact.</p> <p>In preparation for this maintenance, extensive checks have already been carried out and a number of databases that are not expected to be compatible with MySQL 8 have been marked so that they are not included in the upgrade.
