Our monitoring system detected memory-related errors on one of our spine switches in the AZ3 data center. The switch is currently fully operational, and we have not observed any impact on our services. A support case has been opened with our hardware vendor for further investigation.
As a precaution, we have decided to proactively replace the affected switch without waiting for the results of the further investigation. The replaced unit will then be further examined and tested in our lab.
During the replacement, network traffic will be switched over in a controlled manner and switched back after the replacement is complete. Thanks to the redundant design of our network, we do not expect any downtime or impact on our customers.
